सैक्टर-६, द्वारका स्थित डी.ए.वी. पब्लिक विद्यालय की सुयोग्य व कर्मठ प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती मोनिका मेहन के मार्गदर्शन में दिनांक २७/०६/२०१४  से  २८/०६/२०१४ तक द्वि-दिवसीय संस्कृत एवं प्राविधिकी कार्यशाला का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया । जिसमें पहले दिन विद्यालय के ही दो संस्कृत शिक्षकों श्री अशोक कुमार और श्री दिव्यानन्द झा ने “संस्कृत एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी का सम्बन्ध” इस विषय का विस्तृत रूप से विवेचन किया । कार्यशाला के दूसरे दिन विशेषज्ञ श्री उपेन्द्र कुमार मिश्र ने  “संस्कृते सङ्गणकस्य महत्ता” अर्थात् “संस्कृत में कम्प्यूटर का महत्व” इस विषय पर अपने प्रभाव पूर्ण वचनों व प्रस्तुतियों से सभी को प्रेरित किया । इसके अतिरिक्त एस.सी.ई.आर.टी. की वरिष्ठ प्रवक्त्री श्रीमती शारदा कुमारी ने वर्तमान युग में सर्वत्र हो रहे नैतिक पतन की समस्या को ध्यान में रखते हुए “विद्यालयीय शिक्षा के माध्यम से छात्रों में नैतिक मूल्यों का समावेश” इस विषय पर विस्तार से प्रकाश डाला ।  इस कार्यशाला में डी.ए.वी. संस्था के दस विद्यालयों के शिक्षकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया ।  कार्यशाला क...

Carmela Mastrangelo, a Sanskrit scholar from Italy, talks about the future of classical languages : Carmela Mastrangelo speaks English with a pronounced Italian accent. Her lecture on Sanskrit, her ‘favourite language,’ its grammar, history and its pedagogy, was in a typically western accent. But what strikes you is her passion for the language, an unflagging perseverance to master the language and her untiring research efforts. Always interested in languages, Carmela was introduced to Sanskrit during her post-graduation at the Sapienza University, Rome. “I did my MA in Indo-European Linguistics. I found that Latin and Greek, languages from Europe had close links to Sanskrit. They are like two faces of the same medal. Sanskrit is the Indian counterpart of Latin and Greek.
